Hold it! What'd you say? Network Invasion Charlotte is hosting another LAN party? Sweet! Sign me up now!

You know how it works. Those NIC boys pull out all the stops and throw an awesome party. What's the recipe? All the best games and all the best gamers: mix it up and let it simmer for 28 straight hours. Add a dash of caffeine and sugar (okay, okay, maybe a bit more than a dash) for some extra flavor, and you've got a spine-tingling treat that even the most discrimiating and hard to please gamer will savor. No need to worry about the bill, as this smorgasbord of digital delights is still served up at the home-cooked price of only ten dollars a plate.

Getting hungry? That's okay. You can bring your own food and (non-alcoholic) drinks if you like. If you'd rather not, we'll have water, soft drinks, Bawls, and snacks for mere pocket change. There are several take-out and eat-in restaurants in the area, and we've made a tradition of the huge pizza run on Friday nights. We've got a working kitchen, showers in the bathrooms, a wide-screen TV for X-box* and PlayStation* fun, and comfy couches for lounging and napping. If 28 hours is a bit much, bring a sleeping bag and crash when you can't take it any longer.

* Regarding those console games, if you've got the newest editions, feel free to bring 'em, because we'll happily play 'em.

Here's the recap:
Who: YOU!
What: NIC 17
When: 6:00pm on Friday, June 22 - 10:00pm on Saturday, June 23, 2007
Where: Cheshunt Community clubhouse
Why: Tons of fun for only $10.00!

There are only 24 seats available, so sign up today!

I plan to come to this and bring my PS3 as mentioned. The only (PS3) games I currently have are resistance and COD3 (The later of which I don't play at all) but if anyone has suggestions for multiplayer games (non-sports) I can get 2 free rentals at Blockbuster, they have a decent selection. Also, if someone wants the TV mentioned for another console (or for some reason its no good, I don't have an HDMI cable and won't tolerate SD) I can bring my own monitor/setup.

I think the TV only does 480p widscreen, but I might be wrong.

I will be going, and I will be bringing my entire setup for my PS3, so the TV is still available for the "other" consoles. I'll have to take one more spot of table space, so if I have to pay for the additional room, so be it. Half the reason I'm coming to this LAN is to use my PS3 in the LAN environment.

Anyone who's interested, I'll be bringing, for PS3, Armored core 4 (versus multiplayer), Dark Kingdom (Coop Multiplayer), Resistance, fall of man (coop and versus multiplayer), Call of Duty 3 (Unknown, I haven't even bothered playing it.. if someone wanted to buy it off me...)
Also, I have several PS2 games, Virtua Fighter 4 and Dynasty Warriors 4 are the only notable multiplayer ones, If anyone wants to bring their own multiplayer PS2 (or PS3 for that matter) games, feel free, though be warned, you cannot use any special controllers *cough*guitarhero*cough*, so don't bother or expect.
